1. VISA REQUIREMENTS
To enter the Republic of Korea, participants must obtain VISA or K-ETA. Whether to acquire Visa and K-eta depends on the situation of each country and individual, so please check the contents below and apply.
The situation of each country regarding K-ETA can be changed. Please refer to this website.
  • For the visa-waiver countries/regions* and visa-free entry countries/regions should obtain K-ETA approval and do not have to obtain a VISA.
* For some countries, visas are exempted only for diplomatic or official passports, not general passports, which can be found in Appendix. Also, those who hold diplomatic or official passports, request K-ETA exemption through relevant organizations in advance, and receive approval from the Ministry of Justice, will not be required to get a K-ETA. If or do not want to request an exemption, you can apply for K-ETA.
  • For not included in the visa-waiver countries/regions and visa-free entry countries/regions need to obtain VISA and do not have to obtain K-ETA.

Please keep in mind that the assessment can take more than 72hours depending on the situation. Therefore, please allow sufficient time for your K-ETA approval.
- The K-ETA fee is 10,000KRW, an additional fee of 3% (approximately USD 9~10, additional fee included) and is non-refundable even if the application is denied.
